Caregiver Books

In fairness, I didn’t read any of these books when I was a caregiver. I never looked for books about being a caregiver or info on how to be a better one. I knew for me what I was giving was all I had.

These are the books I chose for my book proposal comparison titles. The format for my first book is different from all of these, but the bones are the same. Burnout, aging, ambivalence, and reluctance are all woven through these titles, just like in mine.

I can’t emphasize enough how great this book is in understanding the versions of care we all provide. This book might have changed my mindset back then, but I have no way of knowing that. I know it has given me a lot to think about now that it’s over. If anything it just provers me right in all the things I said over the years.
